Once created, the Order Summary Goal Tile will display complex information in a compact manner for quick and easy readability. The tile will display a gauge that reflects the current progress toward the overall goal and the stretch goal.
The percentage displayed between 0% and 100% represents where progress should be based on the time that has currently lapsed. For example, if today’s date is May 25th and the tile was set up with an effective period from January 1st to December 31st, the percent would be 40% since approximately 40% of the year has passed.
The needle represents the current progress toward the goal. The percentage below the base of the needle displays the current percentage of the goal completed. If the tip of the needle is in the red, then progress is currently lagging toward completing the goal. If the tip of the needle is in the green, then progress is currently on track toward completing the goal.
The Order Summary Goal Page
Click the tile to view the Order Summary Goal page. The top of the Order Summary Goal page will list the total amount of sales, the overall goal, and the stretch goal. An arrow will display beside sales to show the user if they are above or below the sales of the previous year.
- - sales are more than the sales of the previous year
- - sales are less than the sales of the previous year
Below is a chart of the data being considered toward the goal. Group the data in the chart by using the drop-down field. Grouping options include:
- Manufacturer
- Sales Account
- CSR
- Quoter
- Customer
- Order Type
- Workgroup
- Top 50 Transactions
Clicking a bar in the chart will create a filter for the respective entity. For example, clicking sales for Better Designed Lighting will create a filter for Better Designed Lighting.
When using the Top 50 Transactions grouping, clicking a value opens the order in O4 rather than creating a filter.
