Welcome Screen (button)
This is the first screen users see in OASIS. However, the upcoming O4 dashboard will eventually replace this older model. As you begin to use the program, items will appear on the Welcome Screen. These include:
- Reminders containing messages and "To do" items.
- Samples, notifications and return information if the user has checked out samples in OASIS
- Events and New Messages
- Change orders and nontransmitted orders. (i.e. orders that have NOT been sent/transmitted to the factory)
- Disputed invoices that need to be reviewed.
Bid Board (button)
This tab displays all upcoming bid dates, as well as the location and ranking of each project. For more information about the ranking guide, please click here. To view the bid board of a different workgroup, select the corresponding link under “Workgroup ID.” Note: this requires that users have permission to see all transactions.
Recent Items (button)
This tab displays your most recent projects, submittals, invoices, payments, reports, inventory, and deliveries. With the default settings, it will display up to five items for each category and your current count directly beneath the corresponding category.
To alter these settings, select “File,” and then select “Preferences” in the drop-down menu. The following pop-up window will appear:
This tab displays all scheduled events for this user. For more information on Events, view the section on Calendars.
Problem POs (button)
This tab displays the Purchase Orders (PO) that have been flagged with issues, which need to be resolved. Selecting a PO link in the list will open the PO in a new window for follow-up or resolution. For more information, view the Tracking Problem Orders section.
Followed Jobs (button)
This tab displays all projects that are being followed by the current user, along with the associated customer and task information for those projects. For more information and detailed instructions on using this feature, view the Follow ups Tab section.
Weekly Totals (button)
If this user has security rights, Weekly Order Totals will be displayed. The Totals run Sunday to Saturday each week and can be shown in many different views.
To alter these settings, select “File” and then select “Preferences” in the drop-down menu. The following pop-up window will appear:
The Search Tab
This tab is located at the bottom of the screen, and it may be used to access any Project/Quote, PO, Manufacturer, Customer, or Contact by typing the corresponding name or number and then selecting “Find.” Note: to search by quote number, insert # so it precedes the quote number. For example, to find quote TRTY12-1234, type #1234 into the Job field.
The Spec Sheet Search area to the bottom right allows a user to display any sheet, provided it is stored in OASIS. Enter the Manufacturer, enter the part/catalog number, and select “Find.” For more information, please click here.
The Reporting Tool
This tool is located in the menu, along with "File" and "Help." Note: this tool will only appear in the Welcome Screen. By selecting the drop-down menu, Users are provided with three methods of listing and searching for reports.
The “My Order Summary Report” (MOSR) was designed initially as a “quick” view of orders entered. The User can see a summary view of orders entered by manufacturers in a month view format. The report can then be filtered quickly by many options and views. For more information, click here.
"MOSR2" is an enhanced version of MOSR, which uses OASIS’s new O4 technology. When complete, it will phase out MOSR. For more information, click here.
"My Reports" will list any saved reports you have set to show on your Home Screen. For more information, please click here.
