This document covers how to send an order to HLI. It assumes that you have gone through the process of setting up HLI brands and mapping them to the SAP codes. If you have not set up HLI-SAP connectivity yet, please consult support.
OASIS can send the following types of orders to HUE to be transmitted to HLI
- Newly created fully released orders
- Partially released orders
- Change Orders
- Hold Orders (not transmitted to HLI, but visible in HUE)
Create the order as normal and select "Print." OASIS will display the "Print PO" dialog box showing that the Manufacturer copy will be sent directly. Click "Ok."
OASIS will display a preview screen showing the data that will be sent to Hubbell. Users can also print a paper copy of the order, if desired. To send, Click "Send Now."
OASIS will transmit and will notify the user that the order was sent successfully in the preview screen.
This pop-up box will appear after the "send now" button is selected.
If the freight service selected on the general tab of the order matches one of the HLI freight services, the freight service drop-down on this screen is not shown, and the service from the general tab is sent to Hubbell.
On the items tab you can suggest a shipping warehouse for each part. Your authorized warehouses are automatically populated.
