The Order Summary Tile helps you keep track of your sales and earnings for the current day, week, and month. Also, you'll be able see if you're up/behind in your sales/earnings for the same time period last year.
The tile will refresh every 10 minutes to update the sales/earnings growth comparison
Order Sales/Earnings Growth Comparison
Today Growth Comparison
All your order sales/earnings the current day will be compared to the same day of the month and week of last year.
For instance, if today was February 13, 2018, Tuesday, your sales/earnings would be compared against February 14, 2017, Tuesday.
Current Week's Growth Comparison
All your order sales/earnings from Sunday until today in the current, will be compared to Sunday and today of last year.
For instance, if today was February 13, 2018, Tuesday, your sales/earnings would be compared against February 12, 2017, Sunday. through February 14, 2017, Tuesday.
Month's Growth Comparison
All your order sales/earnings from the first of the month and today will compared to the first of this month through today's day of the month last year.
For instance, if today was February 13, 2018, Tuesday, your sales/earnings from February 1, 2018 - February 13, 2018 would be compared against February 1, 2017 through February 13, 2017.
CREATING AN ORDER SUMMARY TILE
To create an Order Summary tile, open OASIS O4 in the desktop version of OASIS by clicking on "O4 Dashboard". At the top of the screen, click on Tiles and then "Create". Select the "Order Summary" icon:
(Note: creating and editing of tiles is not currently supported in browser mode.)
Key a name to display with the tile. Something like "Bob's Sales". (Order Summary will be the default name)
By default, only you will see the tile on your home screen. If you would like others to see the tile, expand the section "Who Should See This Tile" and add one or more users or add a workgroup. If you choose a workgroup, every user in that workgroup will see that tile.
By default, all orders in specified time periods will be tracked. To reduce this to a smaller set of orders, expand the "Filters" section and select a CSR, Sales Account, Quoter, Manufacturer, Parent Manufacturer, Order Status or/and Work Group.
- Tile's Display Name - Title to show in the actual tile
- Tile location - Which application to show the tile in (just use "Home" for now)
- Who Should See This Tile - skip if creating for yourself
- Users - One tile is refreshed and made visible by the selected OASIS users
- Workgroup - Make visible to all users in the selected workgroup(s)
- Exclude Author - check if creating a tile for someone else
- Calculation Details
- Filters - skip if you would like to see the entire bid board
- CSR - restrict to orders assigned to a CSR selected in the quote
- Sales Account - restrict to orders where the assigned sales account is on the general tab of the quote
- Quoter - restrict to orders assigned to a Quoter selected in the quote
- Manufacturer - restrict to orders to where the order's order item has a selected manufacturer.
- Parent Manufacturer - restrict orders to where the order's order item has a manufacturer that's a child of a selected Parent Manufacturer.
- Workgroup - restrict to orders assigned to the selected workgroup(s)
- Status - restrict to orders with selected order status(es)
- Filters - skip if you would like to see the entire bid board
And don't forget to select "Save and Close" - to save and start the tile. Now, your tile should show on your Dashboard within 20 minutes.
Go back to the Dashboard. At the top of your screen and two to the left, you should see a "Tiles" menu. Click "Tiles" and a dropdown will appear with "Edit" being second. Click "Edit"!
Then, Filter to only see Order Summary Tiles. (Check out What Is A Tile? to see how to filter tiles on the Main Tile Edit page) Find your tile. Then, click the edit button underneath it.
Now, you see this page looks very similar to your creation page but with the values you selected or entered during the creation process. Here you can edit any field.
EDITING CALCULATION DETAILS
Something to take note of is editing a "Calculation Detail" will force the tile to re-calculate after hitting the "Save and Close" button. The tile won't appear on your Dashboard until it's done re-calculating.
EDITING VISUAL DETAILS
Editing a visual detail should respond with an automatic change. For instance, allowing another user to see the tile will not result in the tile re-calculating. As soon as you hit, "Save and Close", the new user will be able to see the Order Summary Tile your their dashboard.
The Order Summary tile will refresh every 10 minutes and will show your current sell and earnings for Today, the Week, and this Month with trend arrows to show your growth from last year.
Clicking on the tile will show the Month's detail page by default but clicking on "Today", "Week", or "Month" on the tile will show you more details about orders in that time period.
On the Detail Page, we try to show you where the money is coming from for Today, the Week, and this Month.
Your orders for the time period will be split by Manufacturer, Sales Account, CSR, Quoter, Customer, Order Type, and Work Group(Territory). And, your Top 10 Transactions for that time period.
At the top left under Tile and History Tab(more on the menu later), you can see the name of your Tile and the last time it was updated.
Under the Tile's name and update date, you'll find the navigation bar. Here you can navigate to the order's of Today, the week, and the Month. The highlighted label means you're currently viewing that time period's orders.
You can filter a time period's orders by double clicking a row on one of the tables' (Manufacturer, Sales Account, CSR, Quoter, Customer, Order Type, Work Group) row. The selected filter will now show in the middle of the screen. The total sell and earnings will change based on the filters selected too.
Selecting a Top 10 Transaction will take you to that order transaction's order editor page. On the order editor, you'll be able to view the order header and lines.
As promised, we're going to talk about the history tab (third from the top left of your screen).
Clicking on this tab will show a menu called "Monthly Snapshots". Click on Monthly Snapshots.
The Monthly Snapshot page will show you tile views of the last day of each month the tile ran.
In your example, you can see the last time the monthly snapshot was updated at the bottom of the tile view. The first tile shows your numbers for April on April 29, 2019. As you can see, the time your tile runs may not be the last day of a month. It's really the last time someone in your office/network logs into Oasis that month.
The tile views work just like the tile views on your home dashboard. They will take you to the detail pages of that tile. Your current tile view will always be the last tile view. You can also find your current tile view by going back to the dashboard. (Working on adding a "Back to Current Tiel View" link)
The Order Summary tile is really a real time report that allows for dynamic filtering.
