Initial Download
1. Navigate to the Manufacturers page.
2. Select "Pricing" from the drop-down list.
3. Using the blue search bar on the right side of the screen, search for your Barron entry.
4. Select the Barron entry, so it is highlighted. Note: the selected manufacturer will turn blue.
5. Select "Tools."
6. Select "Update Pricing."
7. A window (the exact size and shape depends on your operating system settings) will show that the pricing has begun downloading and will list the expected download time. Note: this is usually about fifteen minutes, but may vary depending on network speed and speed of your local server.
8. When the download is complete, the following window will appear:
9. Select "OK."
10. Return to the Pricing page to see the downloaded price file.
11. Double-click on the price list icon to show the data content.
12. The "Price List Editor" window will appear.
13. Select the "Level Names" to configure how OASIS will use the pricing. Four price levels are available. Note: there are minimal products with a 3% price.
14. Select "Save and Close." Note: if asked to change a start or end date, select "Cancel."
15. Navigate to the "Accounts" tab on the "Manufacturer Editor" for Barron to set default commission/pricing levels.
Updating Pricing When Expired
1. Navigate to the Manufacturer page.
2. Select "Pricing" from the drop-down list.
3. Search for the Barron entry and expand it.
4. Decide if you would like to delete and replace the current price list, update the current price list, or save the current and add a new price list.
- To delete, right-click on the price list and select "delete" and then continue to step 4.
- To update, select the price list and continue to step 4.
- To save the current, open it and rename it. Then you will need to mark it as inactive on the "Workgroup Access Tab." Then continue to step 4.
4. While Barron is highlighted, select "Tools."
5. Select "Update Pricing."
5. You will see the same pop-ups listed above and can continue to work in OASIS. Once you have received the pop-up that it is complete, then you will have the new price list.
6. Update the "Level Names" tab as needed.
