Crossovers and Layouts

OASIS has the ability to define different quote screen layouts. This allows users to quickly reconfigure the quote screen as the status or business need changes. This system reduces the number of columns on screen at a time. Once several layouts are defined, the user is able to quickly view columns that are useful for the task at hand. One benefit of using layouts is that users may save crossovers as a layout and apply it to any quote at a later time. Saving a Crossover Layout

1. Navigate to the Projects page.

2. Create a new project.

3. Select the "File."

4. Select "Preferences."

5. The "Set Quote Preferences" window will appear.

6. Set column preferences for crossovers as needed. Note: for crossovers, "Alt MFG," "Alt Part," and "Spec Status" columns must be applied to the quote.

7. Select "OK."

8. In the "Items" tab of the project, select "Layout."

9. Select "Save Layout."

10. The "Save New Layout" window will appear.

11. Enter "crossover" as the layout name. Note: this name is optional and is used for example. Users may enter any name. 

12. Select "OK."

Applying a Crossover Layout

1. Navigate to the Projects page.

2. Create a new project.

3. Select the needed phase and bid tabs.

4. Select "Layout."

5. Hover over "Layouts" and select "Crossovers."

6. The "crossovers" layout will be applied to the project.
