If you are not able to send emails from OASIS, then you may need to ensure that your Outlook anti-virus program add-in is installed correctly. This documentation discusses how to confirm that the anti-virus add- in was installed correctly. Note: Ingen Software will not support the installation, removal, or repair of non-OASIS software.
For Outlook 2007
1. Open the "Tools" menu.
2. Select "Trust Center."
3. Select "Add-ins."
4. View the add ins and application extensions to see if your anti-virus program and Outlook add-in is in one of the following categories:
- Active Application Add-ins- if you see your anti-virus program Outlook add-in, then it is installed correctly
- Inactive Application Add-ins- if the anti-virus program Outlook add-in is located here, then it is installed but not active.
- Select the add-in type in the "Manage" box and select "Go." Then select the check box for your anti-virus program Outlook add=in and select "Go."
- Disabled Application Add-ins- it was automatically disabled because it was causing Office programs to crash. Have your IT support reinstall your anti-virus program or determine alternative methods of repairing files.
- If your program is not on any list, then it was not installed when your anti-virus program was installed. Your IT support on adjusting your anti-virus program installation to allow for this feature.
