Setting Up CMQ for Manufacturers

Several manufacturers use CMQ connectivity in OASIS to allow agents to launch their web configurator using the OASIS Configurator tool (Shift+F3) in a quote or order. Once parts are configured using the manufacturer's web configurator, agents can import them back into OASIS. This article will explain how to set up CMQ connectivity for manufacturers in OASIS.

Requirements:

• Users must have Admin access to Manufacturers.
• Users must contact OASIS Support to retrieve the manufacturer's URL required for setup.

1. Navigate to the Manufacturers page.

2. Open the needed manufacturer.

3. The Manufacturer Editor will appear.

4. On the General tab, select OASIS Specialization from the Specialization drop-down list.

5. Click Configure Specialization.

6. A new window will appear.

7. Paste the manufacturer's URL provided by OASIS Support into the URL field.

8. For each workgroup you want to access the manufacturer's web configurator, enter "oasis" into the User and Pass fields.

9. Click Test. OASIS should confirm the workgroups are set up correctly.

Note: if you receive an error, please notify your assisting Support team member.

10. Click Ok to close the window.

11. Click Save and close to close the Manufacturer Editor.
