User Security Settings Details

User security can be customized to grant or restrict access to various applications within OASIS. All users must be assigned the correct security permissions to perform their tasks effectively. This article will explain each user security setting available.

Note:

A blank cell means the setting has no function.
"View All" access is generally recommended unless all aspects of the user's work (creating, viewing, editing, reporting, etc.) should be restricted to a single workgroup.
"Delete" access should be granted cautiously, as deletion is permanent.

OASIS

Workgroup

Note: It's highly recommended that at least two users have Admin access to Software.

Shipment

It's recommended to match Shipment settings to the user's Order settings.

Reports

Reports Security for Tiles:

To create a tile, users need either Create, Update, or Reports enabled.
To edit a tile, users need Update.
To delete a tile, users need Update and Delete.

Note that users can see tiles regardless of their Reports access.

				Enables the "Portal" page in OASIS Online, allowing users to view their Customer Portal
