Setting Up Dynamic Pricing for Signify

This article will explain how to enable dynamic pricing for Signify and how it works. 

Requirements:

• Users must have admin access to Manufacturers.

Setting Up Dynamic Pricing

1. Navigate to the Manufacturer page.

2. Open the manufacturer entry for Signify.

3. Click the Configure Specialization link.

4. The Configure Specialization window will appear.

5. Click the Brand Specific tab.

6. Check Use Dynamic Pricing.

7. Click Save.

Note: If a price list has already been created for Signify, users will need to delete it. There is no need to force OASIS to generate a new price file; OASIS will automatically create one when a user enters a Signify part number on a quote or order.

How It Works

Dynamic pricing is generated automatically when a part is entered in a quote or order. OASIS will run a query to retrieve the pricing information, signaled by a Windows pop-up message on the bottom right of your screen after a part number is entered. You can continue working while OASIS retrieves the pricing. Pricing is valid for 24 hours.
