OASIS allows users to manage restocking with ease. Users can create inventory restock order for any necessary items. This can be completed through an order and for a specific manufacturer.
Setting Up Reorder Points
1. Navigate to the Inventory page.
2. Select "File," and then select "Edit Warehouse."
3. The "Warehouse Editor" window will appear. Select the "Consigned" or the "Resell" warehouse. This example will use the consigned warehouse.
4. Select the "Items" tab.
5. Check the "Manage Reorder Points" box. This allows you to see and edit the reorder points and the required columns.
- Manufacturer ID- insert the ID for the manufacturer.
- Part Number- insert the part number.
- OnHand- insert the amount you have in stock
- ReorderAt- insert the point you wish to start the reorder. If the available quantity falls below this number, the reorder logic will suggest restocking this part.
- ReorderTo- insert the quantity you want to reach.
- Overstock- insert the maximum quantity you do not wish to exceed.
- ReorderUnits- insert the increments you wish to order in.
Restocking from an Order
1. Navigate to the Orders page, and select an order.
2. The order will open in a new window.
3. Select "Tools," and then select "Create Restock Orders."
4. The "Create Restock Orders" window will appear with a listing of the parts that are on the order and meet the restocking requirements.
- On hand- the current number of parts available
- Reserved- the number of parts on open picks
- Low (reorder at)- the point you wish to start the reorder
- High (overstock)- the maximum you do not wish to exceed
- On WHSE PO- number of items already on a restock PO
- Recommended- the amount that will be put on the line of the restock order when it is created
5. Check items you wish to restock, and uncheck items that do not need to be restocked.
6. Select "Create."
Restocking for a Specific Manufacturer
1. Navigate to the Inventory page.
2. Select "Tools," and then select "Create Restock Orders."
3. The "Question" window will appear. Select a "Consignment" or Resell" warehouse. This example will use a consignment warehouse.
4. The "Select Manufacturer" window will appear. Select the needed manufacturer.
5. The "Create Restock Orders" window will appear. Check items you wish to be restocked, and uncheck items you do not wish to be restocked.
6. Select "Create."
7. The "Question" window will appear. You will be prompted to choose if the lines on the order should default to release status or hold status.
8. The Order will appear in a new window.
