Distinguishing Between Types of Quotes

There are three different types of quotes in OASIS: Daily Quote, Simple Project, and Full Project. This article will explain the use case of each quote. Note: if the Quotes page is disabled in Global Settings, users will be unable to create Daily Quotes and Simple Projects.

Daily Quote

Daily Quotes are created from the Home page and Quotes page. This is a quote in which the customer is already known and customer specific pricing will automatically apply. It does not have the ability to add multiple customers. It also does provide project management features, such as the ability to create follow ups, phases, or bids.

Simple Project

Simple Projects are created from the Home page and Quotes page. This quote is meant to be used when working on a simple job where revisions are unlikely. It features the Customers tab in which multiple customers can be added. This type of quote does not provide project management features such as the ability to create follow ups, phases, or bids.

Full Project

Projects are created from the Home page and Projects page. This is the full-featured project management tool in OASIS. Users can add follow ups, multiple customers per bid, multiple bids per phase, and multiple phases within the same project.
