Creating a Clipboard Note

Clipboard notes can be created for yourself or all users in OASIS. Each note is location-specific, meaning it is only accessible from the location it was created. For example, a note created for the Remarks field will not be available for the Markings field. This helps keep notes organized by the process they support.

1. Click Group, or click + on Group

Note: to create a Clipboard note for a text column inside the bill of materials, select a cell, then click Groupin the window's top right corner, as shown in the example below.

2. The Note Clipboard window will appear.

3. Enter a name or an identifying description in the field at the top of the window.

4. Enter the note in the text field on the left.

5. Check the User box to create the note for yourself. Uncheck this box to make the note available to all users in your database.

6. Click the $RD8TSL9.png button to create the note. The note will appear in the field to the right of the window.
