One of the most helpful features in OASIS is the bid board. It is used for everything from a quick view of a job to printing the report for sales meeting. It allows users to have a quick view of job biddings, so that users may follow them closely. However, not all jobs will need to be on the bid board, so users have the option of determining which jobs may appear. Additionally, users may see their own job biddings, their workgroup jobs, or the entire company's job biddings.
Adding Jobs to the Bid Board
1. Navigate to the Projects page or the Quotes page. This example will use the Projects page.
2. Create a new project or open an existing project.
3. The "Project Editor" window will appear.
4. Select the needed phase tab if there is more than one.
5. Select the "General" tab.
6. Check the "Show on Bid Board" box. Once checked, the job will appear on the Home Page.
7. Select "Save and Close."
Viewing the Bid Board
1. The Bid Board can be viewed from the Home Page, Projects Page, and Quotes Page.
The Home Page
1. Navigate to the Home Page.
2. Select "Bid Board."
3. All jobs tagged as "Show on Bid Board" will be displayed.
The Projects Page
1. Navigate to the Projects Page.
2. Locate the blue search bar one the right side of the screen.
3. Use the "Bid Board" area to view the bid board.
The Quotes Page
1. Navigate to the Quotes Page.
2. Locate the blue search bar one the right side of the screen.
3. Use the "Bid Board" area to view the bid board.
