The Shipping Notification Tile updates nightly and provides emailed shipping updates on orders to internal staff and customers. Creating one Shipping Notification tile is highly recommended to avoid confusion when multiple update emails are sent for the same order.
The Shipping Notification Tile will only consider orders that:
- Are not closed
- Are within the shipment window defined in global settings
Use this tile to complete the following tasks:
- Provide timely email updates to internal staff and customers about new shipment details, such as shipment date and tracking. Note: the O4 Customer Portal is required to send customer emails
- Review the status of each shipping update email, such as when one has been sent and when the next update is scheduled to email.
- Filter orders by CSR and workgroup to track specific orders.
