The Base URL and Notification Account control essential features in O4. This article will explain how to set up each setting. To learn more about O4, read our What is O4? help article.
1. Select the icon.
2. Select Configuration from the drop-down menu.
3. Click Software.

Base URL Set Up
The Base URL is essential for several features, such as generating QR codes for Samples and utilizing the Legacy O4 Web Menu. Ingen Software will provide this URL. If you have not received the Base URL, please email OASIS Support at email@example.com.

Notification Account Set Up
Several features in O4 notify users via email. For example, the Bid Board Tile can send daily bid board emails and Conversations will email alerts.
There are 3 options for selecting an email address that notifications send from: a default OASIS email address, a user's personal email address, or a general company address.
Default OASIS Email Address
If the Notification Account is left blank, notifications will send from the default OASIS email address, firstname.lastname@example.org. Note: this email is unmonitored. Do not use this email to contact OASIS Support. Users may contact OASIS Support by emailing email@example.com or calling 501-843-6750.
User Email Address
If you would prefer notifications to send from a user's email address, enter their User ID into the Notification Account field. O4 will use the email address set up in their Contact Information tab.
Company Email Address
If you would prefer notifications to send from a general company email address, users can create a new user account with the OASIS Service user type selected. Enter the User ID into the Notification Account field. O4 will use the email address set up in the Contact Information tab.
