Users can generate QR codes for samples and warehouse bins. These QR codes can be scanned using a native QR scanner on a mobile device, allowing for greater efficiency within the office and in the field.
Generating a QR Code for a Bin
1. Select the icon.
2. Select "Samples" from the drop-down menu.
3. The Samples Listing page will appear.
4. Select "Warehouse."
5. The Samples Warehouse page will appear.
6. Select a warehouse.
7. The Samples Warehouse Bin page will appear.
8. Select "Tools."
9. Select "Generate Barcode."
10. The "Generate Warehouse QR Code" window will appear.
11. Select "2x4" or "3x3" from the "Size" drop-down menu. Note: this measurement is in inches.
12. Select to generate the QR code.
13. A download link will appear once the QR code has been generated.
Generating a QR Code for a Sample
1. Select the icon.
2. Select "Samples" from the drop-down menu.
3. The Samples Listing page will appear.
4. Enter the part number into the search bar.
5. Select . Open the desired sample from the listing.
6. The Sample Viewer page will appear.
7. Select "Tools."
8. Select "Generate Barcode."
9. The "Print Sample Label" window will appear.
10. Users may customize the QR code label to include the manufacturer's logo on the QR code or to print the QR code on both sides of the label. To enable either option, select the toggle. Once enabled, the toggle will appear as .
11. Select "2x4" or "3x3" from the "Size" drop-down menu. Note: this measurement is in inches.
12. Select to generate the QR code.
13. A download link will appear once the QR code has been generated.
