The new Commissions for Account report calculates earnings by sales account and for the company overall. Compared to the legacy version of this report, which was created before the introduction of resell activities in OASIS, the new report has been enhanced (without AI) to more effectively manage and present data related to commissions, resell transactions, and overage earnings. This article explains how to use the Commissions for Account Report in OASIS Online.

Requirements:

Locating the Report

1. Navigate to the Payments Listing.

2. Click Reports, then select Commissions for Account - NEW.

3. The Commissions for Account report builder will appear.

Building the Report

1. Under Reports Controls, define the timeframes for commission payments, resell payments, and adjustments received.

2. Select additional parameters, if desired.

  • Entire Company: Calculate earnings for the entire company rather than breaking it out by sales account.
  • Pay Costs and Commissions First: Deduct costs, then commissions, before calculating agency totals.
  • Cap Earnings: Ignore overpayments when calculating earnings.
  • Draft Only: Show non-posted payments
  • Summary Only: Show grand totals only

3. Click Update. The report will be generated.

Note: After updating, the report builder will disappear. Click Show Controls to view it again. Remember to click Update to apply any changes.

Using the Report

Note: Before diving into the data, use the Account field to filter the report to a specific sales account if needed. By default, this field is set to Overall, showing totals for all sales accounts in the selected timeframe.

The report displays information across three tabs: Summary, Payments, and Adjustments

The Summary tab shows a dashboard with earnings information, highlighting the top three customers by received amounts and top three manufacturers by agency earnings

The Payments tab displays all payments received and their associated transaction information.

The Adjustments tab displays all adjustments made within the selected timeframe.
