OASIS allows users to configure the Projects and Quotes page in order to create data that is useful for reporting, classifying, and organizing projects. Users may create roles, influences, quote statuses, competitions, project ranks, verticals, finishes, voltages, spec statuses, and email templates for projects and quotes.
1. Navigate to the Projects or Quotes page.
2. Select “File.”
3. Select “Configuration” from the drop-down list.
4. The “Configure Projects” window will appear.
The Role Tab
Use this tab to create roles that may be used to classify customers. To learn more about creating customer roles, click here.
The Influence Tab
Use this tab to create the influence for each role. For more information about influence, click here.
The Quote Status Tab
Use this tab to create quote statuses that may be used to identify quotes. Caution: modifying existing quote statuses may negatively impact data. For more information, click here.
The Competition Tab
Use this tab to create the competitors for bids to be used by the Won By field on the General tab of quote.
1. Select the button to add a new competitor.
The Project Ranks
Use this tab to create project ranks that may be used to classify projects.
1. Select the button to add a new project rank.
2. Double-click a color to change it.
The Vertical Tab
Use this tab to create verticals that may be used to classify the market for a project.
1. Select the button to add a new vertical type.
The Finishes Tab
Use this tab to create finishes that may be used to classify catalog numbers on a project.
1. Select the button to add a new finish.
The Voltages Tab
Use this tab to create voltages that may be used to classify catalog numbers on a project.
1. Select the button to add a new voltage.
The Spec Status Tab
Use this tab to create spec statuses that may be used to classify the status of a specification registration on a project.
1. Select the button to add a new specification status.
2. Double-click a color to edit it.
The Send Message Tab
Use this tab to create automatic send message email subject lines and signatures for a quote, BOM, Breakout, Office Copy, Specification, or RFQ print.
