Over the past couple of years, we’ve worked hard to keep our pricing stable. However, the broader economic landscape has continued to shift since our last increase in 2024. Rising operational costs, evolving infrastructure demands, and other global factors have increased expenses across the technology sector, though we’ve also identified opportunities to reduce costs in certain areas.
As a result, we’re making thoughtful adjustments to our pricing, both increases and decreases, to continue delivering the reliability, performance, and support you expect. This article details the pricing updates set to begin on April 6th, 2026.
Any changes to your plan will take effect at your next billing cycle. We’ll be reaching out with more detailed information about what this means for you. This information will be emailed to your accounting contact on file. If that contact should be updated, please let us know.
OASIS Desktop
Ingen Software previously used Sybase as the database engine for OASIS Desktop. Due to changes in pricing and licensing, we’re transitioning to a new platform: PostgreSQL.
PostgreSQL is a widely used, industry-standard database that offers an open-source model, making licensing simpler and more cost-effective. With this change, there is no longer a need for a separate, dedicated server installation. Instead, customers will install PostgreSQL and use its built-in features to manage and access their OASIS database.
As a result of this transition, database licenses will no longer be sold separately. All database-related costs are now included in the standard user license, which has increased to the following:
- Desktop OASIS User Licenses: $900/ea
Maintenance and support remains at 15% of the total user license cost, billed annually.
OASIS Online
Our previous pricing model evaluated customers' database size and the number of online users. Now, annual pricing is based solely on database size. Each plan includes a set number of users at no cost, with each additional online user billed at a set rate.
In addition to the revised pricing model, the price of add-ons has increased:
- Disaster Recovery: $70/monthly or $840/annually
- Customer Portal: $2000/annually
- Desktop Connect: $37.50/GB monthly ($150 minimum)
- Sync: $30/DB monthly

SpecSeek
Previously, SpecSeek was billed as a flat annual fee of $6,000 for maintenance and support, plus an additional $1,000 per territory. Now, SpecSeek offers a lower, flat annual rate for maintenance and support, with no additional fees.
- SpecSeek: $3,000/annually

Other pricing changes
Other pricing changes include increases to cloud services, training, and professional services:

- Backup: $30 per 25 GB
- Sync: $30 per 25 GB and $30 per DB being synced

- Web session: $200/hour
- In-house, onsite & virtual onsite: $2500/day
