Introducing: OASIS One

We're excited to share that OASIS One is finally here! This much-anticipated update brings fresh energy to Desktop OASIS and OASIS Online, helping both platforms feel like one unified system.

While OASIS may look a little different now, the heart of your experience stays the same. Primary navigation, workflows, and features are still in place, so you can confidently jump right back into your work with no learning curve.

✨What Changed?

The primary goal of OASIS One was to update the look and feel of OASIS while streamlining the experience between Desktop & Online. We also introducing a few new features. Let's dive into the changes. 👇

A New Visual Experience

OASIS One brings a more modern, polished look to both platforms. While OASIS Online received the bulk of the changes, Desktop OASIS also saw some upgrades too. 

Some of the updates you'll notice include:

• New colors and improved layouts to enhance visual clarity
• Updated icons for a modern and more consistent feel between platforms
• Refined edges, shadows, and spacing to give everything a little breathing room

Overall, we wanted to refresh both interfaces without completely overhauling the OASIS you know and love. It's a bit like painting a room...or installing new lights. 😉

PDF Drag & Drop Functionality

Users can now drag and drop PDF files directly into OASIS to easily populate as a BOM and create transactions. Data entry can be mind-numbing; we hope this new feature makes your day-to-day a little easier and frees up your time to focus on other important tasks! This feature is currently available for quotes for both Desktop OASIS and OASIS Online.

User Icons in OASIS Online

As a fun bonus, OASIS Online now features user icons. Users can customize their icon color from ten OASIS-themed options. While it doesn't change how anything works, it allows you to add a personal touch to your online workspace and easily identify when multiple users are in a transaction.

	To choose your icon color, simply click the drop-down icon next to your user icon, select your color, and click Apply.  The hardest part is choosing a color!
	Your initials are pulled from the Initials field in the User Editor. If this field is blank, OASIS will use the First and Last Name fields in the User Editor to identify your initials.

🦞Fun Fact: When this feature was first implemented, we had a typo where "Lobster Fest" briefly became "Lobster Feet." We're still not sure we made the right choice by correcting it. 🤔️

You'll occasionally notice announcements appear on your Home Page, whether you're in Desktop OASIS or OASIS Online. (That's probably how you found this article!)

These in-app announcements are a new way for us to ensure you have everything you need at your fingertips. We’ll only send them when there’s something critical we need you to know, like the launch of OASIS One!

We'll make sure every announcement is worth your time. No spam, no distractions.
