A Submittal Like is a quick and convenient way to create a submittal package from a bill of material. This article will explain how to create a submittal like from a project and order in O4. For more information about creating a submittal from scratch, click here.
Creating a Submittal Like
From a Project
1. Click the icon.
2. Select Projects from the drop-down list.
3. The Project/Quote Listing page will appear.
4. Open a project.
5. Click File, then New, then New Submittal Like.
6. The New Submittal Like page will appear.
From an Order
1. Click the icon.
2. Select Orders from the drop-down list.
3. The Order Listing page will appear.
4. Open an order.
5. Click File, then New Submittal Like.

The New Submittal Like Page
1. Define submittal preferences. Note: this section will not appear when creating a submittal like from an order; skip to step 3.
- Lamps- select lines coded as lamp
- Accessories- select lines coded as accessory
- CQ- only select lines coded as courtesy quote
- From Orders- select lines that have been converted to an order
- Roll Up Kits- collapse component lines into the kit line
- Roll Up Accessories- collapse accessory lines into the fixture line
- Zero Quantity Items- select lines that have zero quantity
- Drop Descriptions- do not bring over line descriptions
- Drop Line Notes- do not bring over line notes
2. Click .
3. Select specifiers for the job. Note: specifiers from the quote or order will automatically populate. Users can select up to two specifiers.
4. Click .
5. Check the box for line items you wish to populate in the submittal. Note: use the check box in the top right corner to select or deselect an option all together.
6. Click .
