The Order Monitor tile tracks specific order issues and notifies inside staff when an issue has been identified. This article will explain how to create the Order Monitor tile.
Requirements:
- User must have Reports access to Reports.
- The Order Monitor Tile will only consider orders that:
- Are not closed
- Have been updated in the past two years
Creating the Tile
1. Navigate to the O4 Home Page.
2. Click the Tiles menu, then select Create from the drop-down list.
4. The Create Tiles page will appear. Click the Order Monitor tile.
5. The Creating Order Monitor Tile page will appear. This page is divided into three sections: Visual Details, Data Source, and Filters.
Visual Details
Use this section to define the tile's display information.
1. Enter a display name into the Tile's Display Name field. If you do not enter a display name, the tile will appear as "New Order Monitor Tile" by default.
2. Select the page where the tile should be displayed using the Tile Location drop-down list.
3. To create this tile for other users, enter User IDs into the Create Tile For Other Users field. Skip this step if you are creating this tile for yourself.
4. Check the Receive Daily Recap Email to email each user identified in the Create Tile For Other Users field whenever a new order issue is identified. The tile's detail view will contain all outstanding order issues.
Data Source
Use this section to identify the issues that the tile should monitor. At least one data source is required.
- Non Transmitted Orders- scans for orders that have not been sent to the factory
- Hold order after 7 days- scans for orders that have been held for longer than seven days
- Hold orders within one week of Required On Site- scans for orders still on hold that are within seven days of their Required on Site date
- Check Pricing on Hold Orders- scans for hold orders with pricing that is lower than prices in the manufacturer's active price this
- Discontinued Items on Hold Orders- scans for hold orders with items that have since been discontinued per substitution notes in the manufacturer's active price list
- Unscheduled Orders- scans for orders with items containing a substitution note in the active price list (Sub. Notes column).
- Unshipped Orders- scans for orders that have not shipped by its scheduled or estimated date
- Missed Shipping Date Orders- scans for orders that have a scheduled date that is after its target date
- Bad Schedule and Shipping Dates- scans for orders with a schedule or ship date that does not match the line state, e.g., a held or canceled line with a scheduled date or a line containing a scheduled date before the order's Do Not Ship Before or after the order's Required on Site date.
Note: the number of days past an order's target date to consider an order as being unscheduled, unshipped, or having a missed shipping date is defined in Global Settings.
Filters
Use this section to filter the orders considered for this tile Filters are not required.
- CSRs- only consider orders where the CSR is a specific user
- Quoters- only consider orders where the quoter is a specific user
- Workgroups- only consider orders created within a specific workgroup
Once the tile's setup is complete, click . After the tile has been created, it can be edited anytime.
Viewing the Tile
The tile will appear after an initial scan of all active orders with an update date within the past two years is completed. The tile will update nightly and display the number of identified orders containing the issues specified in the setup. Read more about viewing the Order Monitor Tile.
