This article will explain how to set up Signify Connectivity. To complete this process, users must obtain authorization from Signify and then login to OASIS with an account that has administrative rights.
1. Navigate to the Manufacturers page
2. Open the manufacturer entry for Signify.
3. Select the “General” tab.
4. Set the “Specialization” field to "Signify".
NOTE: The older "DCO" label is still supported.
5. Select the “Configure Specialization” link.
6. The “Specialization Configuration” window will appear.
The Authorization Tab
The “Authorization” tab must be filled out for the connectivity to be activated for all Signify brands. (There is no need to setup the Activation tab for each Signify brand.) However, you will have to login to My Lighting to obtain a pass code. For more information, click here.
After a token is obtained from My Lighting, in OASIS, type in your email address and the pass code generated in My Lighting. When “Save” is pressed after these values are changed, OASIS will confirm access by requesting a security token from My Lighting. Any errors should be corrected. Contact OASIS support if you have any questions.
NOTE: The ”Reset” button normally is not used. That button is used to clear the security token from OASIS and is used in diagnostic processes to help re-establish connectivity with Signify.
The Brand Specific Tab
To make any adjustments, open a given Signify brand in OASIS, click “Configure Specialization”, select the “Brand Specific” tab and make any required adjustments. The “Brand Specific” tab allows each feature to be toggled on/off for each Signify brand in OASIS. This tab allows users to send orders directly to Signify, enable inventory lookup, send RFQs (request for quotes), and use dynamic pricing.
NOTE: the “Brand Specific” tab alters the connectivity for a given brand. All other configuration tabs affect all Signify Brands.
The Diagnostics Tab
The “Diagnostics” tab should be ignored unless instructed to make any changes or turn on debug mode. Debug mode is used to help developers identify background processes whenever a customer is experiencing issues with Signify pricing, etc. The tab will change over time to allow OASIS support to help diagnose issues with Signify.
The Workgroups Tab
The “Workgroups” tab is used to apply individual Signify B2B codes for individual workgroups in OASIS. If your agency has multiple Signify territories, then you will need to obtain a B2B code for each territory from Signify. Within OASIS, you most likely have a workgroup covering each Signify territory (e.g. if the agency covers 2 different states, then most likely you have a workgroup for each state or Provence). Simply type the B2B code into the open field beside the corresponding OASIS workgroup. (It is common to see more than one workgroup mapped to one Signify B2B code.)
The Order Types Tab
The ”Order Types” tab does an initial map from an OASIS order screen to the Signify order staging screen (described in the order send section). The idea is to allow the OASIS data to move to the signify order with minimal steps from the user. Once the staging screen is open, the Signify order reason may be changed from the initial mapping.
The Freight Types Tab
The ”Freight Types” tab is an initial map of the OASIS freight type to the Signify order staging screen (described in the order send section). The idea is to map user configured OASIS freight types to the Signify order. Once the staging screen is open, the Signify freight type may be changed from the initial mapping.
Once the configuration tabs are adjusted, press “Save” to save changes and close the configuration window.
After the configure specialization has been saved, "Save" the manufacturer entry.
