The Bid Board Tile serves as an enhanced version of the Bid Board in OASIS Desktop, allowing users to filter bids and customize the bid information displayed. This article explains how to create the Bid Board Tile.
Requirements:
- Users must have Reports access to Reports.
Note:
For quotes to appear in the Bid Board Tile, they must:
- Have the Show On Bid Board checkbox checked on the General tab of the phase
- Be active, or, if expired, the number of days past the bid date must not exceed the number set as the Bid Board expiration date in Global Settings.
Creating the Tile
1. Navigate to the Home Page.
2. Click the Tiles menu, then select Create from the drop-down list.
3. The Create New Tile page will appear. Click the Bid Board Tile.
4. The Create Bid Board Tile page will appear. This page is divided into three sections: Visual Details, Columns to Display, and Filters.
Visual Details
Use this section to define the tile's display information.
1. Enter a name for the tile into the Display Name field.
2. Select the page where the tile should display using the Tile Location drop-down.
3. Create the tile for other users by typing their name into the User Access field. Skip this step if you're creating this tile for yourself.
4. Check the Send daily recap email checkbox to send a daily email summarizing Bid Board information to each user added to the User Access field. Learn more about the daily recap email.
5. Adjust the tile's refresh rate (how often it updates in minutes) and the number of cards displayed in the tile's Cards View.
Columns to Display
Use this section to select the fields that should display for each bid on the Bid Board.
Note: Each bid will display the Bid Date by default.
Filters
Use this section to filter quotes that appear in the tile. Filters are not required.
When the tile's setup is complete, click . After the tile has been created, it can be edited at any time.
Viewing the Tile
The Bid Board Tile will appear after an initial scan of all quotes is completed. The tile updates every 30 minutes.
