The Activity Tile tracks user activity in OASIS Desktop, OASIS Online, and the Customer Portal. This article explains how to create the Activity Tile.
Requirements:
- Users must have Reports access to Reports
Creating the Tile
1. Navigate to the Home Page.
2. Click the Tiles menu, then select Create from the drop-down list.
3. The Create New Tile page will appear. Click the Activity Tile.
4. The Create Activity Tile page will appear. This page is divided into three sections: Visual Details, Data Source, and Filters.
Visual Details
Use this section to define the tile's display information.
1. Enter a name for the tile into the Display Name field.
2. Select the page where the tile should display using the Tile Location drop-down list.
3. Create the tile for other users by typing their name into the User Access field. Skip this step if you're creating this tile for yourself.
4. Check the Send daily recap email checkbox to send an email summarizing daily activity to each user added to the User Access field. Learn more about the daily recap email.
Data Source
Use this section to define the activity the tile should track. At least one data source is required.
Creations
- Quotes: track users creating quotes in any OASIS version
- Orders: track users creating orders in any OASIS version
- Invoices: track users creating invoices in any OASIS version
- Payments: track users creating payments in Desktop OASIS
- Messages: track users creating or replying to a message in OASIS Online
- Call Logs: track users creating or replying to a call log in OASIS Online
Attachments
- Projects: track users manually adding attachments to a phase (e.g., drag and drop)
- Quotes: track users generating automatic attachments inside a quote (e.g., printing a quote)
- Orders: track users manually adding an attachment to an order
Updates
- Quotes: track users updating quotes in any OASIS version
- Orders: track users updating orders in any OASIS version
Page Hits
- Customer Portal: track the number of pages a customer contact navigates to in the Customer Portal
- OASIS Online: track the number of pages a user navigates to in OASIS Online
Logins
- OASIS Online: track users logging in to OASIS Online
- OASIS Support: track OASIS support team members using Support Tokens to access OASIS Online
- Contact Portal: track external users opening pages in the Customer Portal
- API: track users logging in to the API OASIS Online URL
Filters
Use this section to filter the activity tracked by the tile. Filters are not required.
When the tile's setup is complete, click . After the tile has been created, it can be edited at any time.
Viewing the Tile
The Activity Tile will appear after an initial scan of all activity is completed. The tile updates nightly.
